Thanks MrsD that would be good, and the credit report is just the free one I seen talked about on here "Noddle", is it not good to be on it? they email me once a month to say a new report is here so I looked to see if I had a default. should I not bother with it?

I would be keeping out of my credit report, no point if it's buggered, haven't looked at ours for over 3 years....................

    hi all
    bit of info needed please...
just had a look on my credit file, and have noticed that at the start of june Bank of America ( sr) sb team has done a check on me saying it was a " Administration review " ..... now I know that's mbna but whats (sr) sb team? and why are they doing a credit check I don't want anymore credit, is this normal also they wrote to me back in may with a default notice that would be applied if I didn't pay up before the middle of may, I couldn't pay (other than my £5 per month) but still no default notice but still lots of interest being added each month. any thoughts anyone

    Hi All,
just a quick update, still not been defaulted and still sending statements with interest adding every month and they have also started ringing me again even thought they promised they would not .... they left me a message today asking me to ring them, but for some reason they only left half a phone number or my answer machine decided to stop recording half way through the message ........... no matter I don't get the calls anyway as withholds don't ring on my phone and go to the answer machine so think I will be sending them another harassment by telephone letter and remind them of their promise not to ring me

    Hi TJ
That's good in that the interest and charges will now stop.

Just hang fire for now and let them get on with it, but keep paying your £5 per month.

We'll write back to them after the termination outlining how they've continually said they will help and done absolutely nothing, when you've been open and honest about your situation. Then complain to the Financial Ombudsman if they don't agree to your token payment.

    Hi all
just thought I would send you a quick update, I have today received a reply from MBNA, its:
Thanking me for both my letters the 1st I sent beginning march, the 2nd I sent beginning of April ( the 1st one they didn't bother to reply to) . and telling me they sent me their final response back in February addressing the issues i raised in my complaint.( no they never addressed any issues they just said no, we will not help in anyway )
    yours sincerely,
    Gail Powell
    Vice President

so they still don't want to help and are just not interested, what-so-ever !!!!!

That's the way they behave. As Elsa says, they will default and terminate, so the interest will stop at that point.

I would give them 14 days from receipt to respond.

so they still know I am here but don't seem to want to answer my letters, so I will file theirs and wait to see if a reply comes.
Sorry been away for so long. I'm in the same situation if you remember. Still NOTHING from DCA. Four months!
