Re: PriorityOne & CPUTR 2008 (ex P1 CAG CPUTR 2008)

    Preaching to the converted.
It is very sad that they act the way they do.
If I hadn't gone onto MSE I would never have been redirected here and I would probably have a collection of CCJ's by now .

It's not just the visable practicalities that people on here care about either, nor is it their own ego.

Anyway time to get moving, catch a train and greet the beloved who has spent the last two weeks in SF and Las Vegas (bar steward)

Re: PriorityOne & CPUTR 2008 (ex P1 CAG CPUTR 2008)

If i hadnt found this site, by pure luck while searching UE, my mother would prob have a CCJ from DLC re MBNA by now also.

They threatend all sorts at the start, and took it as far as a letter from their solicitors, if it wasnt for this forum helping me to understand UE, they would never have backed down. I dont even hear a dickybird from them now thanks to this place.

I dont know if the other forums are funded in someway by credit card companies or what not, but if there is a connection then you can see why its not full impartial advise.

You wouldnt go to a solicitor employed by the same company seeking a claim against you, so why should consumer debt forums be any different.

Its typical, of a "problem, reaction, Solution" situation, whereby they create a problem, then comes the reaction, and they offer the solution, to the problem they created.

What they dont want, is other forums, like this, being able to show another solution to the one they were gunning for.

            Hi

I was also receiving help from the other site and they were very good with me in the beginning for which I will always be grateful, unfortunately when it came to court and I asked for help with the defence I had no replies and felt abandoned. The advice I eventually got was to arrange a payment plan with my creditors as I was a debt avoider, however a few of the members jumped in and supported me and told me what to do and I cant thank them enough, I would have have had 2 ccj by now if it wrent for them, you know who you are, I found this site by googling for something else and found quite a lot of the other site members werre here.

I dont post a lot as there a a lot of people in worse situations than me and need more help but the information I have gained from this site has helped me enormously. So a big thank you to the site and to the members of the other place who are here now and helped me when I needed it most.

Sorry that was a bit long winded but its how I feel.

              Hi Fredbare,

It's good to see you over here. Niddy has a good grasp on UE agreements and always willing to help and kill situations.

It's a totally different atmosphere here.

I have had my say on the other palce, so no more comment from me.

Hi Vint nice to see you too, I havebeen following your threads for a long time. It is nice here and hope Niddy can help me sometime with my agreements as I havent had them looked at by an expert but they are the same as a lot of other peoples and they were told they were UE so I am assuming mine are too, hopefully.

I have no intention of ripping the other site to pieces as they were the first to help me out at a bad time and I still appreciate that but it has changed a lot and I dont feel welcome there anymore. I do here.

                All the best

No I havent Vint, I didnt know if I had to be asked before I did that. Do you think he would mind, it would help to have his opinion as 2 are in court already.

                    Thank you

If you scan and save to your esktop, the email that appears when you click the link, comes up from your computer, so you can just drag and drop them into your email.

                              Hi FB,
I was lucky enough to be directed here when someone on the other site mentioned AAD (I assume the post was removed). There are some good people on CAG but this is a totally different proposition. AAD is much more proactive and positive in dealing with difficult issues. I'm also pleased to see people like Priority One, Fine Vintage etc here.
