Hi Di, Just wondering - I emailed LTSB the letter you drafted for me last Monday and sent it by snail mail too, I have not had any response at all, not even an email to say we are looking at this etc. How long shall I leave it before my next move do you reckon?
I emailed all of these the letter too:

Chase this up today, tell them you emailed a week ago and disappointed that you have had to take more time to contact them, my feeling is then at least one of the above will get back to you by the end of today or possibly tomorrow.
Sometimes it does take that 2nd email. (so forward them again), email all the above on the same email, tell them the copies of the email you sent is below and you will appreciate it being looked into for as soon as possible.


That should hopefully do the trick.

I have actually had a reply from LTSB via email today, they have forwarded this from the CEO's office to the business team for investigation.

Will wait and see!

I have just had another thought on this case with LTSB.

They have written to me saying that my complaint is being referred to the business department for attention as it was a loan on a business account - however as I was a sole trader and not a ltd. company would this make a difference? I.E. The loan was solely my responsibility and not a companies so therefore it was a personal loan in a sense and should be treated as such - or am I being thick?

I have just had another thought on this case with LTSB.

That does appear to be confusing though so I may be the thick one here lol, wasn't it the business address we did apply here sometime ago? (which is why they have passed on to the business department), or am I getting muddled with another one?

No that is this one I have a few up in the air so to speak Di.

But I do have another three that were taken out while I was self employed and hence it was a sole trader business account, but the company would not be liable for the repayments it would be me alone so could it be classed as a personal loan?

Dunno, I will wait and see what comes back first

Hmmm yes, it could possibly be classed as a personal loan, but if that is the case, they should be able to confirm this to you when you hear from them.......hopefully.

A follow up on this one.

Not heard a peep from LTSB since the "we have passed the details to our business dept etc etc" so I have taken the bull by the horns and gone to the FOS, LTSB are I think being a little coy with me so sod em, I have sent all relevant documents to FOS so will sit back and see if they buck their ideas up any - doubt it mind but you never know
