Remember that one - was the court a court or a hired room? Were the magistrates sworn in? Could he see their oaths? Brilliant!

I think I might become a Freeman of the Land. Actually I think I already am as I do no harm and I only pay who I want to!

Whether or not their name has been selected in your monthly creditors' lottery?

Blimey, Niddy got my cranial card index working last night, (OK l l before you lot do it) and I seem to remember that this "freeman on the land" stuff was all talked about by a site moderator OTR named "Enron". There are more serious aspects to it other then the David Icke looney stuff but I didn't really follow it all up at the time.

            regards

So it's not just a rebellion against the 7' tall, shape-shifting lizards who have conquered the human race?

Council tax arrears = Liability Order (loads of dosh for LA) = bailiff involvement (loads of dosh for LA, allegedly - http://www.jbwgroup.co.uk/resources/...hite_Paper.pdf )

So, no conflict of interest when dealing with the hardship cases then!!

I got quite passionate about it all at one stage. I know quite a few people who,eg, do not tax or MOT their cars and get away with it - they insure them to be responsible.

Thing is, and people don't realise this, with the rights come responsibilities as always. You can't just decide one day to become a FMOTL, you go through the process of revoking your rights gained under your registration at birth which creates your strawman.

To me, that then stops entitlement to benefits, free healthcare etc... or should do. If you don't pay in, why should you be allowed to get out?

Also, as a amate of mine Alan says, you've always got to be prepared to spend the odd night in a police cell. Sorry, but I'm not!

Of course BBoo, I agree with you. My comments were made tongue in cheek to the OP. Its a bit like un-repealed Saxon Law which still exists giving you, me and Niddy the right to convene a People's Court over a battle axe and those transgressing aginst our community (bankers, DCAs bailliffs etc) face a mandatory sentence of death. They have to choose between hanging from the bough of the village oak or beheading with said battle axe summarily with no appeal.

                        l l

                        regards

Doesn't EU law have greater precedent?

I do believe Garlock has cracked it!

Next time the bank manager, etc., 'accuses' you of owing money, challenge him to a duel on the common at dawn!!

Result, council admitted they were wrong. They have put the monthly payment plan back in place and are apologising in writing. Thanks guys.
