        They say the loan and the Ban balance (Overdrawn).
        1. Can they combine the two into 1 debt.
        2. They say the defaults will remain on my file until the WHOLE balance is paid. Can they do this when one is for over £6k and the other is for just over £60. how exactly are they sharing the payment out between the two accounts?

        Shouldn't they pay the smallest one off first?

          Re: HSBC & DG Solicitors

          Just had another thought, they are offering me some money back, I'm thinking of asking for more as I have lost out on interest....

          Hang on, it says interest too, not read it all properly as I've got kitten-eye (just woke up) lol

            How stupid, I just tried calling to speak to him and never even got past the receptionist.
            She wanted to know my Banking security password... FFS, The account was closed 6-7 years ago.

              Re: HSBC & DG Solicitors

              I've spoken to Jamie (who sent the letter) and he said he'll be posting a letter confirming he's going to be sending a cheque for £150.
              He also gave me an address to write to, so I can question the merging of the two debts and separate defaults. Also the fact that the Bank default will not clear until 6 years, along with the loan one. What I am unhappy with is the status of it, the loan was for over £6k and the Bank one was for only £66. So my reasoning is the bank one should show as settled.

              The address he gave me was;
              Metropolitan Collection Services
              Po Box 5338
              Coventry District Service Centre
              Binley Business Park
              Coventry
              CV3 9FR

                I recently sent them letters (dated 2013/08/01 & 2013/10/28) stating that I am having to reduce payment, first to £25 and then to £2. I didn't get any reply from the first letter but since sending the second letter, I have got this reply (well, threat-o-gram)...

                    Usually do but up until now these have not been a problem so not felt the need, proved they're all bar stools.

                              Sorry N1 is court summons, might of changed their ways,there again they farm out more these days I believe, as they got rapped back along, see what happens, but keep their letters as you have offered, and a I&E has been requested, which you give or not, you should investigate more in this area, others will advise also.

                                Re I.E's, I don't have to submit a detailed one, Niddy has said (can't remember when) that all I have to give them is;
                                In £1000.00
                                Out£999.00
                                Left£1.00
                                I don't have to submit a detailed one unless ordered to by a court judge.
                                And I keep ALL letters from everything and also scan them to keep a copy.
