    Re: HSBC & DG Solicitors

    A bit of history lesson is required then;

    I opened a Bank Account
    Took out a loan
Took out another loan for a bit more cash and to pay off the first one
    Became overdrawn
    Defaulted on the loan
The decided to put the overdraft and loan together and give it to DG Sol.
I used to be afraid of the post... Now I look forward to it - so I can stick it to the DCA's

Sounds like they are trying to get out of it by quoting the Current Account Overdraft and ignoring the loan

Looks like the single post linking is not working.

                          Thank you - ok, next:
                          • Can you confirm did the overdraft happen as a result of a missed loan payment to that account or was it something else that put you overdrawn?
                          • Did you have an agreed overdraft facility?
                          • I am trying to establish if the loan payment coming from your current account caused you to go overdrawn or whether it was another reason. If it was, can you recall what month the loan payment came out that made you overdrawn and also did you have an arranged OD with that bank.

That is all I need to know please

In a letter I've found, it states 'Informal Overdraft'
                            Basically overdrawn through own fault
I never started paying the loan as I lost my job just before it was due to be paid.

The loan was partly used to clear my credit card
If you check the Credit file I emailed you, you will also see that I had a credit card too. £2,086.83 of the loan was used to pay it off and it was closed.
I used to be afraid of the post... Now I look forward to it - so I can stick it to the DCA's

                              Re: HSBC & DG Solicitors

Usually HSBC loans are repaid out your account. If they are due to be paid it normally authorises the payment (cos it's to themselves) putting you overdrawn.

Is that what occurred or are you saying you made a purchase and went OD?

Seems pedantic but it's very very important we get that right as to how we play it from here. I'll be able to get them to return this and/or at least revert it into the loan again but in essence they've attempted to merge a REGULATED product into an UNREGULATED product.

                              Oooops

I applied for the loans and they put the money into my account.
I went OD through my own fault.
Shall I upload all the documents (in PDF format) I've got in relation to the HSBC accounts I had?
                                If so, where exactly?
