Here's an update about this credit card, my son as you know got a confirmation that he could pay £ 2 a month for six months then they would review it .

He set the standing order up but for some reason nothing went out of his account , he got a letter saying get in touch urgently and i answered a call for him and was given a phone number for him to reply to , when he phoned the number was not recognized .

This morning he received a letter from Barclaycard saying that they have sold the debt onto Robbers way .

waiting now for them to get intouch. He hasn't paid anything on this card for well over a year now .

can this account become SB if it is being passed from pillar to post ?
My son hasn't paid anything on it for about a year and half .

I would think that as it's well post 2007 and a fair amount - £3000+ - they won't let it drop so easily I'm afraid. Not impossible, but unlikely.
If your son wants to go that route then he could send a CCA Request and take it from there, procrastinating for as long as possible with the various templates.

Alternatively if he wants to stick with the original DMP plan he can send Robbers Way an up to date Nedcab I&E and negotiate a low payment. Absolutely no speaking to them on the phone.

If you want help with a letter to send with the I&E give me a shout..I'd probably wait till their next letter at least before making any move.

Thank you for replying , the account is only £1,403 and i have edited the first post where i made the mistake when i thought it was £3000. I will ask my son what he wishes to do x

If anyone can help please i need a template letter to offer token payments of a £1 a month for this account , i have looked through the templates and the only i can find needs a lot of changing as this is the only debt my son has at this moment , he can use the income and expenditure form which Elsa gave to me but i need to add a template asap please
