Yes but as I'm half blind and a bit dumb I missed it

An S.O is a great idea I'm sure whatever contribution you make it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks who doesn't like being greatly appricated, if only my creditors felt the same way

Totally off topic folks. Am I right in thinking there is specific guidance covering debt recovery activities? Where would I find these?

                  guys

if everyone gave a pound a month, it would help. None of us get paid (or want to be paid)we do this because we are all in the same boat, most of the mods are in debt, some of us have huge debts, we're going through the process of UE too, read all of our diaries.

Any money raised/donated goes to the actual unavoidable running costs of AAD, if you like, the priority debts.

If eveyone chipped in even one pound a month if they could afford it, it would be a great help, sure there will be months when you can't afford it, and that's OK, there will be those who just can't afford it any month and that's OK too, all I'm saying is if you can afford one pound a month would be fabulous and you would be helping AAD to be here for guys just like you.

I totally agree with you. I've just started my journey and will be saving a decent amount each month with help from you guys. I really don't want anyone to be out of pocket. I have no problem making a donation each month. Just going to set up the SO now.

Yes that is how I looked at aad from joining, I dont have a standing order but aad hsbc is in my banking system everytime I pay my monthly ccj I donate the same to aad its not a great deal but I know its appreciated, I am one of the lucky ones income has picked up nicely but still have big probs have been fighting repo since 2010, with the FOS still since 2011 hoping to hear good news soon (as this is the FOS wont be holding my breath) but people like us need this site so if you can and only if you can it is worth every penny or pound.
                      All the best to everyone.

My only thoughts are for a google search, or download google toolbar from the site that gets a few pence when its used or offering some sort of service that is paid for, only problem is what sort of service you can offer as you are already working on the only thing I could have suggested. Will carry on thinking about it though and if I have any bright ideas I will post them up but don't hold your breath waiting

but we've resolved that minor blip (with full default removal too ) so all's good

You know the main things we're doing (don't you?)

                              We'll have (before year end);

                              1. The worlds cheapest hosting (around £0.50p/m)
                              2. Novelty items such as mugs (cheeky ones aimed at banks etc)
                              3. Choose2Refuse - our phone service (£1p/m)

Plus other ideas in the pipeline, one is formation of a limited company in regard of legalisation with its own registered charity with full CCL and MoJ backing.

As I say, we'll get by nicely. All we want to do us break even. I want to get PI set-up (ie insurance) to cover us plus have a fund that we *could* issue monies to those in exceptional cases; ie to fight a court case or possession for example. Or for someone that can't get £500 to go BR.

Anyway, we own our own servers thus it's easy enough to add racks (but dear) so when we sort an IPSTAG for Nominet (to supply domains) and finalise affiliates then we *should* start to pay for our own usage plus save some for the charity/fighting fund.

I will not entertain adverts or banners or links. Sorry, ain't gonna happen on my watch

Imagine if by accident a PDL appeared (think CAG) - I'd be mortified

ps thanks for all the lovely gestures above but seriously I'm not asking you guys to pay anything. I'd rather you got an extra sky package (MSE will be cringing) or bought a takeaway instead of funding us (sorry to those trying to help but you know what I'm like)!
