Sorry got this off Wonga today also: -

    Hi ,
    Loan Agreement Ref :

Please pay your Wonga loan today to avoid charges being added to your account
We have just tried to collect your promised repayment from your chosen debit card and, unfortunately, the payment was declined by your bank.
We understand that juggling your finances can be tricky and mistakes happen, so we hope we can sort things out today and then we`ll be here next time you may like to use our service.
Please pay £1,400.59 which is the original loan amount and the interest accrued before 5pm today. You can bring your account up to date by logging in to the My Account section of the Wonga.com website and selecting "Repay my loan" or you can repay us using our automated payment line on 0207 183 0063.

As our collection attempt was declined by your bank, a fee may be added to your balance. If we still haven`t received full repayment by 5pm today, you will incur a £20 missed payment fee towards the cost of a failed collection. You should also be aware that we will make further attempts to collect the money you owe us from your debit card, either in one payment or in several amounts, during the course of today and on a continuous basis until the amount you owe is repaid. If you are experiencing a short term cash flow problem and need to borrow the money for a longer period then depending upon your circumstances we may be able to arrange this.
If however you are experiencing real financial difficulties paying then you need to speak to us urgently.
Whatever the problem, please do get in touch with us as soon as possible on 0207 138 8332.
Be assured we want to help.
Remember that settling your balance in full before 5pm today will mean you avoid paying the missed payment fee and:
    • You won`t accrue any further interest
    • Your repayment will be reported to credit reference agencies in a positive way
    • Your trust rating will be protected and you will be welcome to apply again in the future
    Best regards,
    Customer Care

    Dear Sirs,

    Ref:

I write with reference to the outstanding balance on this account. Unfortunately due to a personal mental health family issue I cannot afford to repay the balance outstanding.

I do not want any correspondence sent to any address you hold on file or any phone calls at the moment. Given the nature of things I can afford to pay £25 a month and would like instruction on how to set this arrangement up. I would also ask that all interest be frozen until further noticed. When things get settled emotional and finacially I'll be in touch with new details.

In the meantime you can contact me using the following email address which I'll pick up as and when I log-in.

    Hi

Can you do me a favour and list each of the PDL's you have as right now you're loading letters etc here but I am buggered if I know what the hell you're doing cos there is nothing from you saying what is what!!

Please start again, tell us (do this one per account):

    Name of PDL:
    Amount Borrowed:
    Date of original loan:
    Due date:
    Paid or missed:

Then a history underneath of what you've done, i.e.

    History:

01 March - send the template Niddy did on 25.02.2012
03 March - got email saying piss off you smell
05 March - replied with the letter below....

    Get the idea?

Please do this in here then I will tidy or redo a new thread for you as this is a nightmare and we'll make mistakes if it continues.

Ideally, what we do for one company should be transferred to all of them so you send the same replies to all lenders.

    Anyway, I await your reply.....

    Dear
Your repayment of £437.50 due to PaydayUK (MSPD) was not authorised and your loan has now been passed to our collections team. Please be aware that failure to repay your Payday Loan will result in your account falling into arrears and possible charges could be accrued and that if you do not repay your loan and fail to contact PaydayUK (MSPD), this may be reported to the credit referencing agency, which could have a negative impact on your credit rating.
    1. Have your Debit Card details changed?
If this is the case, you can update your details using the link below:

    And so it begins: -

    Dear Mr

    Client Reference:

We have applied for your loan repayment of £450.00 by debit card. However, the payment was not authorised and is therefore overdue.

As we have not received any communication to the contrary, our assumption is that you require the loan to be extended and so we will attempt to do this for you over the next 7 days by your debit card at our discretion.

Should we fail to be successful in extending the loan then as per the terms and conditions of your agreement with Payday Express, we will apply a default fee and an interest charge calculated against your overdue account balance.

If you do not require your loan to be extended, you must contact our offices on 0800 0126 860 between 08.00 and 19.00, Monday to Friday or 09.00 and 13.00 on Saturday, and repay the full amount overdue.

If you have already contacted us regarding this matter please disregard this communication.

    Yours sincerely,

    Payday Express
    Collections Department

    Next reply from paydayuk: -

    Dear ,
    Many thanks for your email.
Before we can discuss a payment plan we will need to try for payment as per your Loan Agreement terms and conditions on 28/03/2012. If this payment fails then a member of our Repayment Team will contact you.
Payment is taken from the Debit Card provided and not by Direct Debit. Please check with your card issuer regarding any authorisation charges.
As we work with a Credit Reference Agency, we share your account information on a monthly basis, so when you repay your loan on time, this could also help to improve your credit rating. However if you do not repay on time this could have a negative impact on your credit rating.
If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact us on 0871 271 6111^ (Call charges apply 10p per minute from BT landlines, mobiles and other providers may vary). Our office is open 9am - 8.30pm Monday to Friday and 10am - 4pm on Saturday.
    Kind Regards,
    Faye

Unfortunately this is stated in your contract, the added interest will continue to be applied.

    respond as follows;

Then you leave me no option but to confirm I will not be repaying this bottomless pit.

If you change your mind, you have my email address and know how to reach me.

See what they come back with. Obviously you need to be brave and not pay. Let em sell it and in the meantime save as much as you can. Once sold to a dca we can look at a f&f offer to settle.

If you're happy of course? But that's what I would do.
