Just to be clear in what I am doing, Regarding the letter to Lloyd s, do I quote the reference number 1st credit are quoting on the letter they have sent me referring to the debt they have presumably brought from Lloyd? or the reference number of the Lloyd existing loan that I am paying?.. and do istill send the first template you send me to 1st Credit?

        Hiya

The way I understood things was that you had one account that 1st credit are writing about, and I suggested you send the Prove it template and that you had a second account that you were repaying direct to Lloyd's, that I suggested you send a CCA request off for.....

Just to mention that the existing loan with Lloyds bank which I am paying direct to them is charged to my property, do i still send the CCA request to them.

No, no point as they've already secured judgment - thanks for mentioning this, obviously just continue paying that as normal then and concentrate on sending the prove it template to 1st credit.

Rod, is it possible that this is a secured loan with the monthly installments all paid up-to-date and not the consequence of a CCJ with a subsequent charging order on your property? You say it was taken out 7 years ago so it can't be a CO. I only asked the start date in case it had any connection with this credit card issue such as an old consolidation loan from the same bank which you thought may have included the credit card.

As Niddy says get that letter off to 1st Credit pronto and we'll look at other things after you get back from the post office. Remember to send it Recorded Delivery so you can Track & Trace it

I have now sent the letter to 1st Credit by recorded delivery. Regarding the existing loan with Lloyds charged to my the property, the loan initially started of as a business overdraft then it was consolidation a few yrs ago with other loan which I suppose was charge to my property. I now make one payment on a repayment basis which has 6 more yrs to pay off, i am not quite sure what the other loans were

I did received another letter on the 30/12/13 dated 23/12/13 threatening to pass the account to Connaught to consider issue of a SD if i didn't agree to pay and accept a payment plan by direct debit.

do I just wait and see what comes back?

Did that letter from 1st Credit dated 23rd December give you a deadline for your response before the debt would be passed to Connaught to issue a SD? If you receive a letter from Connaught post up here immediately and we'll tell you what to do. Please don't worry anymore because you're in safe hands with us

It's good that you've sent a 'Prove It' letter in response to 1st Credit's threat because I did warn you it wasn't a scare tactic and that they would refer you to Connaught for a SD if you ignored it.
