There's also Hamptons Legal, which shows how little Lowells know about rhyming slang (link).

Their name is supposed to make one suppose they're solicitors whereas they're just the next desk along in the Lowells call centre.

            Your reference: whatever

            Dear Sirs,

Thank you very much for the letters you have sent me; not only did they make interesting and amusing reading material, I found that they were admirably suited for a secondary purpose. Cut or torn in half, the letters were more than adequately large. The paper was thick enough to resist tearing yet sufficiently flexible not to cause chafing; better still, the ink did not come off in use.

However, I recently suffered a severe attack of diarrhoea which resulted in my supply of your letters becoming rather depleted.

Please send me some more letters, as soon as possible.

            Yours Faithfully,

When Gold isn't enough, there is SA Gold! New to the forum and find the UE route a bit scary? Take a look at my diary here and judge for yourself. I am now saving the money each month that was making little difference to the balance and not a bit of difference to my credit file as a result of finding AAD.

Indeed it is and is the same firm that 2 Optima Employees got a severe reprimand from the SRA too.

They both tried this before with a bit of dodgy dealing before the law came into place to allow such a deal to go through.

"Senior Litigation Partner at Optima Philip Robinson, added: “This is an exciting time for Optima Legal, Cost Advocates and all our clients. Capita’s ownership will allow us to accelerate our growth plans and build a stronger business and service proposition.”
The acquisition is subject to approval by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the successful granting of an alternative business structure licence."

Not sure if one Philip Robinson will get approval from the SRA with this under his belt:

Mate just ignore the buggers. Really it's not worth the hassles

If you're adamant you want to complain you have to ask yourself what you'll gain from the hard work put into formalising and dealing with the complaint. I'm happy to help mate but I think really, it's best to retain their letters and just carry on paying the £20pm.

They can't touch you so long as you pay the agreed amount
