I half expected the b*ggers to want it back actually.... they've had various threat monkeys after me for ages.

It gives me a warm glow inside to think of the discounts I'm still getting..... they even doubled my points up for vouchers against their clothing range last month.

    Love you Tesco!!

Yes but as I say both mine and the wife's card come with additional benefits due to her working there.

        ours was 31p

        * clubcard nets us a few hundred a year though

We also use eOn and you get CC points with them so bear in mind we pay £250 p/m for utilities - it all adds up

When my wife is checking the stock dates on stuff in the coolers if it is within 2 days of going out of date it is reduced to silly prices like 10p, however there not usually much left as my wife and other workers have it.

The smaller outlets are great for that; Tesco Express. I've had tons of stuff from there at knock down prices as it's only a 5 minute drive away..... There's a small Co-Op there as well..... got half price "free-to-roam-about" chickens just before Xmas!! Yum!!
