Yes I feel even more bitter about them now than I did before, even though I was very upset, but tried to brush the comments to the one side, I do just wish I done something about it then to be honest.

They will always be our babies won't they? lol.
Well he is 16 now and not doing too bad, still struggling with the outside world as such with socialising, but is getting there, thank you for asking x

There's still plenty of time to "do something about it". Sod the ICO, FOS blah blah blah route deadlines. You will get closure on this somehow. You really will.

I'm not being flippant when I say my problem has been my daughter's ability to socialise - but then we can leave discussions on Class A drugs ruining young lives to another day.

I can't do smileys (don't be cross with me for my weekness all you clever people ok) but if I could there would be a long row of them at the end of this message to reflect your son's future. For goodness sake people wrote off Stephen Hawkins for his 'difficulties' and I think he's pretty much proved that wrong.

Sorry, I'm finally catching up with this one and should explain that I'm the friend Di referred to earlier who has a similar situation with insulting comments found on a SAR (in my case from LTSB). My SAR was received over two years ago and my complaint only filed very recently. I am pleased to report that they have now made me an offer of £1000 which I shall most likely accept.

It's absolutely disgusting that they should be allowed to get away with this and most definitely worth pursuing, so go get 'em girl

Their treatment of us mere mortals is truly appalling, but to get something back in the form of compensation does go some small way to mitigating their actions!

Well it will never take away the hurt you felt as that will always be in the back of your mind, however you can take heart in that you have put another dent in there profits.

Arrhh, do you think I can find that paperwork in relation of the comments they made?? thought it was amongst all the rest of it I have here, think I must have put this to the one side when both me and hubby were reading through it sometime ago, I will have to find it, or I may just consider asking for a further SAR, it will be more updated and things went on with them afterwards with them since the SAR, see what they come back with.

And this one was in my hubby's name, will request one in my name me thinks, what do you think folks? And if the loan was taken out later in 2005 hopefully I should still receive every single info as from the sale of the loan to the pay out of the PPI.

Anyway, do they usually leave comments written on the side of our copies of letters? I've not come across them on other SAR's from other companies?

Thanks for popping this one back up for me folks.

Believe it or not I've still not got round to dealing with it, but with you posting will have given me a shove now.

Will be digging all the paperwork back out on this again shortly of hubby's again, and will be requesting a SAR in my name, at least this way, they cannot say it's too late for me to raise this matter up, because it will be me complaining about this, not hubby where the above was stated on his paperwork.
I should receive more or less the same, but am looking forward to seeing what further info they will have about myself, in regards of the loan taking so long for us to have proceeded with this.
