Saturday he messaged me saying that they were writing over £1000 off and my bill was now £800 Now to me thats a RESULT

    I is one happy bunny

Re: No Leccy Bill For 2 years

Right I have had a bill drop through the mail box today for over £2000.00. It shows my payment history which was £75.00 odd per month up until April 2014, this was to pay off arrears and they were supposed to bill me quartlrly which they never did, not sure when the last actual bill was rec'd. I did speak to them once and the lady on the phone couldn't understand why bills weren't coming through. They've also read the meter several times.

            This latest bill states:-
            2 feb 13 (read) > Dec30 (est) 13 £1000.00

            31 dec 13 (est) > 02 jan (est) 14 £12.00 ....why !!!!!

            3 jan 14 > (est) > 04 aug 15 (read) £1800.00

So they haven't made any mention of previous meter readings

So the toatl with standing charges, vat etc is £3050 odd

They have added a credit for a goodwill payment of over £950.00 which leaves the bill of over £2000.00

My question is do I have to pay that amount of should I only pay the last year Aug 2014 > Aug 2015 which going by there 19 month amount (jan 14 > aug 15) of £1800.00 would be more like £1100.00 for a 12 month period.

I'm assumiong the goodwill figure is because they know they have mucked up so am hoping I will pay what they are asking for.

            Advice appreciated please

They can only bill you back as far as 12 months depending on whether they have billed you or not.

                    See attached info from Ofgem

                        Update,

Having complained I got a response from them and after some negotiation am happy at the outcome which is paying for the last 12 months only which is spread over 24 months :-)
