Greetings Everyone Thank You for all the get well messages I am home now but only after pleading with the doctor this morning as he wanted to monitor my blood for longer but I said my GP can do that and besides I am off the opinion I will recover faster at home among friends and family so he let me out.
I was lucky as the appendix was close to bursting and thus have a larger than average cut and remains sore.
I spent my birthday in hospital but it was not so bad as family rallied around to make it as good as possible and the hospital removed visiting times for me so wife and sons could stay longer.
So I am home and will be back up to speed in 3/4 weeks.
Our hospital btw has an out of hours outpatients unit and was sent there by using 111 and the GP just sent me straight up to surgical assessment unit thus avoiding Accident and Emergency.Comment

At least there were no serious complications, and you still got to spend your birthday with those who mean the most to you.
