        They were the days before heart attack a few years back, then short time at work and retirement so wages were cut drastically then.

          Fantastic thread all the comments are seconded by me. I wonder if Nid really knows how much he means to us ? Indeed we all mean so much to each other cos the support chat and banter is priceless ( even if we do gabble on at itmes )

            Just to add my own thanks here too!



            What is also different about AAD is that it is possible to have different opinions and have a heated debate without being banned, unlike another 'consumer action' forum I could mention.

            I noticed that the second that site became 'commercial' (btw I understand all sites have bills to pay and I don't have a problem with them generating money for their owners when so much good help is being given and don't have a problem with this) that the doors were opened to the DCA's for 'right to reply'.

            The big point that they missed is that consumers went to that site to escape their creditors. It was the one little island of relief where they could discuss their finances without the harassment and BS they were submitted to.

            Not so the case here - there still is a little haven to escape to and get great advice.
