My Dad died 40 years ago this year, and I still think about him, not with sadness but with lovely memories of what a great childhood he gave me and my sister..with holidays in Wales every year that I still remember in glorious colour-the blue skies over the Lleyn Peninsula were stunning.

We lost dad in July 2010, he was a few months into his 69th, but am thankful that mam and dad got to share their 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary together that year too.

Yes, I will do just that, and light a special candle in his memory
