    Bohemian Rhapsody (1975)
playing 'cheat' in school lunch breaks with as many decks of cards as we could get our hands on
    Bay City Rollers
    Brutus Faders jeans
Falmers jeans - with the pintucked backpockets and the little front flapped and bottoned ticket pockets!
listening to dial-a-disc in the phone box on the corner all Sunday afternoon (we knew a scam whereby if you dialled the 1 then hit the phone rest sharply and quickly dialled the 6 you could listen for free for as long as you wanted)

        Re: The Glam 70's

I wasn't into glam rock, Northern Soul all the way for me. All time favourites are Do I Love You (indeed I do) I've told my kids I want that at my funeral! & Time Will Pass You By (suppose that should be played too!) 1st baby born in 1973 put paid to the nights out dancing - yes in those days we went straight to the clubs at 8pm - but had my own large collection!! My boys brought up with soul in their hearts.

Keep saying we'll go to one of the NS nights now held (oop north) but not got round to it yet.

Ultravox and Vienna was actually the 80s Dopey (1981 to be exact)

What on earth were the Bay City Rollers thinking of when they agreed to wear those half-mast tartan troosers? Though perhaps that's the pot calling the kettle black when I think of some of the clothes I wore in the 70s!! Hotpants, jeans with Road Runner and smiley face patches, jeans with the seams split and a huge amount of extra material sewn in to make massive flares, tops with lurex (make sure you read that correctly!), bright blue eyeshadow and very pale lipstick, glitter on my face...
My favourite Bay City Roller song was their first hit - Keep On Dancing.
Let your smile change the world but don't let the world change your smile
