Gales and rain eased long enough for us to walk the dogs on the beach; unfortunately the sea was so rough that the waves went past wellies and about 4' high!!!

Morning, torrential rain and gales. So far 1 trip to hospital for husband.....hypochondria and 1 gfriend in bed with a virus. Building up to a good Xmas

Thank you both. Yes I am feeling better, it's been a horrible virus that has really knocked me, especially as I have had the flu jab.
Son has arrived safely, he only passed his test last month and had never driven on a motorway which is why we drove over 2 hours to meet him (the journey is 5 hours) so that OH could drive his car while I drove ours through torrential rain and gales. It was just lovely to have everyone sitting together.

It's lovely here. Son driving for 5 hours to get to us for Xmas, he only passed his test a few weeks ago, so waiting to hear that they have left so that we can meet them half way as he has never driven on a motorway before plus weather is supposed to be getting a lot worse

He'll drive steady Eddie Cym and be home with you before you know it
