Did that letter arrive out of the blue or had you made a previous complaint? If it was unsolicited then that's interesting because it suggests that there may have been numerous complaints to the ICO or FOS forcing Barclaycard to make retrospective corrections to all borrowers' CRA files.

I have a Barclaycard which didn't default for nearly two years after my last payment and DN. I haven't said anything because I didn't want to wake them up, but it'll become an issue next year when my six years is up and I want a clean file.

Some try this trick but a complaint to the CRA & ICO usually resolved. If not, take it to the FOS.

A 6 should not be used more than 6 times in succession - as that suggests default by then. The lender should by rights, default you.

I have at least 3 years of 6 on the Barclaycard that was defaulted 2010 DEC although a letter last week from them said they have defaulted from 2011 April no real problem as I have a letter stating cannot find the cca but checked noddle (I know) so it shows a 6 from when I stopped paying when I joined aad Sept 2010.

Hi,
I know defaults drop off after 6 years, but can the companies continue to place markers ie 6 on the accounts as unpaid every month. right up to SB.

Well have not heard from these in 3 years and also have an acknowledgement they cannot supply cca and cannot enforce we also have a defective default notice dated 20 12/ 2010, in the same envelope another letter for formal demand for payment usual threats. anything to respond with.

Letter 10/3/2011 barclaycard cannot find cca will not enforce thru courts whilst this continues will continue to request payment (good luck with that).

Letter LRC they have been provided with the authority to accept an exceptional one off discount to bring this matter to a close, ANY REASONABLE OFFER will be considered reply by 21/1/14 if I don't pay client may consider to bring down the wrath of the gods on me. (baliffs employer to stop my wages ect). Any thoughts guys.
