Don't compare with other users as it does not work like that! Your case is different and you shouldn't compare action with other users as it is not the same - yea you get the same letters, but the way they treat you depends on whether they have an agreement etc......

                    Afternoon peeps.

Just a quick update / question.

I have had a number of letters recently from various lenders,no doubt further to DCA's being sent the 'sold whilst in dispute' template(and handing the file back),saying that they disagree and that they have indeed complied with my request and provided a valid agreement.
Do I need to respond to them (LTSB,MBNA,Natwest and BOS to date)
They have all had ,months ago , after the original CCA request, the 'failure to provide a valid CCA' templates.
                    Cheers
                    Matty

No you ignore them if they don't listen to you. When they sell it on again, we then respond as appropriate - naturally, they will disagree - it costs them a lot to just say "ok, we agree - forget it yea"...

                            Morning all.
                            Update 23-2-2011
Got a couple of strange leters yesterday:
1: From Moorcroft re LTSB account confirming that they cant find a copy of of my credit agreement as the account is more than 6 years old,but they believe that in any case the balance remains due and they require immeadiate payment or realistic payment proposals....
They go on to say that the ICO has confirmed that wheras a debtor is not obliged to repay the account due to the provisions of the Consumer Credirt Act,this does not mean that there was no enforceable agreement.
Finally they say that in addition our client will continue to report the conduct of your account to the various Credit Reference Agencies to whom they subscribe and that they look forward to hearing from me in the next 14 days with my proposals for discharging this liability.

Do I need to respond to this or just file for now?

2: From Beneficial Bank re my HFC / GM Card saying that they are pleased to inform me that they have found the original copy of my legal agreement.
It is the same as sent to me previously by Restons and is a copy of theoriginal application form as previously inspected by his Nidship.
They sent it recorded delivery...not sure why really - it must be part of some bigger plan relating to the court action or maybe my claim for mis-sold PPI.
                            Will file for now.
                            Matty.

Awesome - result matey! All the above, basically means they will not try and enforce anything (cos they can't) - so they'll continue to say to the CRA's that you're not paying (cos they can) which matters little cos your credit file is already fooked!

Basically keep that letter extremely safe - this is now done and dusted! If anyone tries to get clever (ie bug you to pay/threaten you etc), you photocopy that letter and send it with one of these: ---> CCA Query - Letter Previously Confirming No CCA
