    Re: Oscars Natwest UE Diary.

OK, letter from Sols now recieved. So to recap all here (rather than read back)

Originally sent CCA 10/08 and got back photocopied/microfiched T&Cs stats, etc. Cont to pay at this point.

03/10 stopped paying due to financial probs - eventually passed to moorcraft (after in house triton) who gave up with all my letters CCA etc. They did tell me to contact natwest who had already given final repsonse prev (with second CCA when they said not doing anything cos we did it in 10/08)

Is now with Wescot (since july ish) who have not been too harsh to be fair who have, now, got Nelson Guest and Partners to write to me, with discount offer, which needs to be taken pretty quick. If I cant take advantage then maybe they can come to an arrangement. Letter mentions a couple of times "....further action will be taken..." (no bold).

Natwests prev letter (can send if needed Nid) is correct (as far as I know) in that they have, essentially complied by giving, stats, T&Cs, prev T&Cs etc, and that they dont have to provide an original document with names addresses signatures etc. HOWEVER, the "historic" T&Cs are largely illegible (circa 90%), appear to relate to more than one account (as some did back then) AND I cant see any reference to fees (O/L late etc) on there. so that part fails.

Just a little worried with them now having a solicitor on board.

Need naything else matey, let me know!

        Re: Oscars Natwest UE Diary.

        Hi Oscar,

I wouldn't get over worrried here. Nelson Guest and Partners are the "letterheads for rent" mob used by Wescots. If you check all of the small print carefully and cross compare you will probably find that contact numbers etc are in fact the Hull Heroes. We found that threatening to do something nasty to them in return like a complaint for breaches of code of conduct has the account back with Wescots pretty quick who then, if they follow the pattern in our cases, will send you a final piece of nastiness under their own hand whilst returning the account to the OC.

        regards
        Garlok

          Re: Oscars Natwest UE Diary.

I did have those suspicions Garlok - the letters, type face, layout etc are all the same.

Thanks for confirming! Looks likely I may well get my second UE confirmation soon (hopefully they will completely wipe from CRA like Lowells did with Marbles)

            Re: Oscars Natwest UE Diary.

Haven't read right back through your thread Oscar, but if this is Barclaycard, Wescots are one their last ports of call before selling the account on to someone like Lowells. This is what they did with one of ours.

best of luck with the next UE mate.

              Re: Oscars Natwest UE Diary.

Well, after sending the letter to the solicitors (Nelson Guest) I have today recieved a letter from Wescot stating, "if you want a copy of the signed agreeement send a covering letter marked section 77/78 and £1 fee

Thought I had already done this, and put it all in my last letter that they refused to comply!

Oh well - sit and wait a bit longer!

At a guess mate, they are preparing to ship it back to the OC if running true to form.

                regards

                  Re: Oscars Natwest UE Diary.

Hopefully then ship it to Lowlife (they have already tried Moorcraft) - and I have beaten Lowlife into submission before (and as a "Brucie Bonus") had the default removed without even asking.

                      Re: Oscars Natwest UE Diary.

Well Wescot have written again - obviously by one of their more "intelligent" monkeys - addressed to "Mr" and starts "Dear Sir/Madam"

Apparently, NW have told them the dispute regards s77 is resolved, they enclose a copy of the previous letter NW sent me, which comfirms they have "met their obligations"

Oh - yes, and I now owe the full balance and its time to pay basically.

Nelsons now written (again) saying pay up in 10 days (or make an arrangement) or further action will be taken.
