                      MUPPETS!

(if Cheques are acceptable, maybe I should send one of those ...... theres no money in my account so no need to worry!! )

Strangely enough, I cant see my sending a £1 (or £1.50 if I am feeling generous) with a letter stating "I look forward to your confirmation that this matter is now closed" would work.

Why? - Because I won tenner on a scratchcard

Only "dodgy" part is they want my signature on the paying in slip .... but then, as they have never seen it before, how do they know my signature is not M Mouse?
