    Hey Y'all

Just checking in as I haven't for a while. Well, no more news from Natpest or any others on their behalf since september. Nothing on credit record either ( never has been though!) . As long as things continue as they are, I'm a happy bunny. I hope others aren't finding things too stressful over xmas/new year period. Stick at it, with Niddy's help i am over £500 better off each month and as long as things continue for another five years, will have shaken off two rather large debts. So a little bit late but Merry Christmas and a happy new year to all ( especially Niddy after all his help this year) :xm19

              Re: Coffeedog's UE Diary

              Hello ,

Been a while since I posted but have been checking in every week or so to see how things are going. I haven't heard a thing from Natpest, until a few weeks ago. They have now threatened to report me to credit ref agencies as in default. They have said if i pay them an amount I can afford I can avoid this and sent me an income/expenditure type form. On the plus side, once again they have confirmed they cannot enforce recovery of the loans through the courts.

I've been lucky so far as nothing has ever shown about the loans on my credit records but am I right in thinking just ignore them. Or they will have my details etc. As it stands I couldn't actually afford to pay much anyway! But if i leave it the loans will become time barred anyway in 6 years and fall off my record? It would be nice not to have anything on my record but I knew this was the consequence of taking the action I did.

Thanks, hope everyone is enjoying the bank hols

I would risk just ignoring them, at the end of the day a default should have been registered after 6 months of missed payments so we can fight it after it is SB'd if necessary......

Just sit tight and see what happens

Just checking in to let you know - still nothing on credit record . Only recieving letters every 6 months giving me updates on the two balances No interest is being added either.

Niddy, even though it's not on my credit record it can still be statute barred 6years after my last payment can't it? If so, 4 yrs and 10 months and counting!

Thanks once again for all your help

Just see what happens, you're doing really well..... keep us updated!

Regards SB - it becomes automatically Statute Barred regardless if its on your credit file, after 6 years since date you last acknowledged the debt..... just ignore as usual...

                              HI all,

Just popping in to say it's still going well. The two loans are still not showing on my credit records - They write every 6 months asking me to re-pay, and say the loan is still valid but acknowledge they can not take any court action. they then say they will report me to CRA's but don't. I just ignore them and nothing comes of it.

So keep going everyone, it works in the end. Hope all had a Merry Christmas.

Now fighting for PPI on a credit card from 4 years ago. Every little helps!
