Re: What2donext / UE Diary
They always say that they don't class the account as being in dispute and it's their final response.
I'd just ignore.

Re: What2donext / UE Diary
Absolutely pixie!
You will get harassment like never before, W2N, from Mercers so be prepared for them. No phone discussions, no security questions, just tell them in writing only and PHONE DOWN. Log date time and brief outline of call etc. They can do nothing except strengthen your case if you stand up to them. All of their activity is unlawful as they are a dormant company for one and secondly they will issue you with a big red Default Notice under s87(1) of the CCA1974. This will be defective in a number of ways buying you more legal space.
I have just told someone else, their ONLY weapon against you is your own fear of what they may do to you which is precisely NOTHING.
Calders will be next in line before you join the circus with the rest of us. Have fun.

Originally posted by PlanB View PostNiddy, a quick question. If a creditor puts pressure on you to take out a new loan to repay exisiting loan, is there anything 'unfair' going on which could work to a debtor's advantage? I had car finance which expired after 4 years leaving a 4k balance to pay, then the creditor 'offered' me a new loan (much higher APR then old loan) on the day it expired. I stupidly didn't realize I could have shopped around for a better deal.

yea they've also attached most recent ones, but they are 13 years out of date and not at all applicable so it's unenforceable - respond as follows: CCA Query - Missing Prescribed Terms

Just blag it for now until we get all the results back then look at adding this toward any DMP - in the meantime blag it and respond with this: CCA Query - Missing Prescribed TermsI'm the forum administrator and I look after the theme & features, our volunteers & users and also look after any complaints or Data Protection queries that pass through the forum or main website.
