    Re: alanstuart UE Diary

    hello nid
    just a quick update

all 3 CRA replies came in but all said the same ,that there was no defaults recorded from B/card.
all the reports came back with satisfactory credit rating
both the default letters from mercers gave me until 25 sept10 to pay up or else well send a formal demand,
that hasnt happened, nor has anybody paid me a visit either.
    will update as and when
    all the best

      Re: alanstuart UE Diary

If the defaults are recent then they may be not be reflective of the true account status so maybe you were too hasty in writing to the CRA's......

Just see what happens yea? And don't worry about defaults, you will get them when you don't pay!

        hello nid
        latest update is
i sent off the `threat of doorstep visit` to mercers last month and the letter i recieved was from barclaycard.
the letter was from their `customer satisfaction department`saying they would look into my complaint and get back to me within 30 days
what do you make of that, shall i just file it as per

          Hiya

Just file it - their response will say that they do not agree to your complaint and that they will continue to call - we know this, however lets wait and see.

          Do nothing right now. gh

Hiya, ok regards to the PM - this is confirming they cannot locate the original agreement which is what you wanted

Keep that letter safe, it is your get out of jail card - if they try and make a recon now, tough! In court they would need to show that they are confident the content of the recon matched the original, with no record of the original (as per their letter) how can they be confident of the exact wording/terms?

Credit agreements are individual to individuals, they are not blanket documents - i.e. your APR and mine will differ in 99.9% of cases, so exactly how could a lender "prove without doubt" what content was on the original?

Point is, forget this now and store that letter safely :UE

                    hello nid
sent off this week `copy doc supplied` to b/card mastercard.
today recieved 2 letters, one for each account, both exactly the same-`terms and conditions` enclosed
not sure if i should send off the appropriate response, in the light of their response,-- when they said they couldnt find my agreement - what would you advise,no rush, when you have a minute
