      They hug themselves to sleep coming up with their aliases. Allied International Credit went through a little phase of their template letters containing the names of the gangsters in Reservoir Dogs (Mr Brown, Mr White etc).

      I also had a letter from a Leanne Dick @ AIC. Can't imagine that was made up!

        No, two syllable, so I guess it was just too much for him. I kind of sat listening to it like this as it was just too ridiculous!

        Have you got copies of previous letters you have sent to them. It'd be worth going through them and see what you have sent before making a decision.
        Yes, I've got copies of everything, so I'll have a copy of previous stuff telling them to contact by post only. I will start logging the phone calls, until I can get the letter to them.

          I would log all calls, regardless of what has been sent. Keep a little diary by the phone and just jot down time, who has called, and if possible name of the caller (if they can get their own name right).

          May sound a lot of work, but to show that you have had 40-50 (and the rest) calls over a year when you can demonstrate you are on a payment plan which is all you could afford, will demonstrate unreasonable behaviour and harassment.

          Think of it as a fight, but with information and data. If you can demonstrate that your record keeping is better than theirs then you will get them on the back foot.

          You'll be placed into the 'leave alone' pile.
