      Re: Tastyjane's UE diary

Well I have spent the day sorting through cupboards and came across a stash of letters from when I first stopped paying - I was original chased for the second Egg card but they seem to have stopped around 2010. I was also chased re the TSB card in 2012 (August) but I'm not sure I've had anything since. Will wait to see what letters come in the next couple of weeks.

I have come across a couple of default notices for the Capital One card that is about to issue me the SD.... I will scan and send to Niddy if that's OK.

          Hi Jane

Just posting to give you a bit of encouragement. You obviously have the right mindset now and, as I am sure you realise, you are in the perfect place for getting help and support.

I am only a little ahead of you in my diary but I can't believe how much I have learned and how less stressed I feel.

It looks like you are going to be moved to a secure thread area soon so good luck and remember to let us know you are OK.

Thanks Elsa, at least I now know what I'm dealing with and I'm trying to get as much information as possible to make an informed choice for my circumstances. I just wished I had found this site before I cannot tell you how reassured I feel knowing there are people out there that have/are going through the same and don't judge me.

                        Re: Tastyjane's UE diary

Right tonight I have checked my Experian account and have discovered some interesting stuff. My Barclaycard account has a gone away date of 1/1/13 - what does this mean?

Egg are showing my account as satisfied with a default date of 26/11/08 but assigned to a CAIS Member on 1/12/10 but Aktiv Capital appears to have the same card with the same default date but hasn't updated since 29/08/10. The amount they are stating doesn't relate to either Egg card.

I do appear to have a Barclaycard with the same balance as one of my Egg cards default date of 19/12/08.

My Barclaycard is now showing as Cabot Financial with a default of 04/08/09.

My AA loan, for which I have a CCJ is still showing in default - is this right?

But the strangest thing is that my Capital One account doesn't show at all although Lowells have searched my credit records once in November 2012 and again in December 2012.

Surprisingly my credit score is fair with quite a high score!

Can anyone explain what a gone away date is?

                        Jane x

Also looking again some of the start dates (which I am assuming relate to when the card was taken out don't seem to add up, particularly with the Egg ones).

Interesting as I haven't ...... Should I let them know or just ignore it? Or is this a silly question when I am pretty sure I made my last payment in November 2008.

My instinct would be to ignore it but I'm not at all sure.

                                Perhaps someone else will know.
