    Sorry Di

Yes, I have had a steady stream of begging letters, offers, texts, calls to my mobile, all ignored by me. I haven't felt there was anything worth updating.
    I shall now update ASAP.

Have you heard nothing more from them since your last post on this thread in June 2016?

Settle on "highly favourable terms"? They're offering you a discount of £3.47p .

I'd be tempted to send then £11 and tell to keep the change since they obviously need the money more than you

this was originally £50ish but EE wiped the slate when I got the arbitrator involved. I think this might be charges that the DC has added.
I think that this process of template letter sending could be somewhat automated

I'd send off another CCA to them just to make them aware you;re not going to role over, they prefer the roling over type of customer.

    Halifax Credit Card

    Date commenced May 1996

    Approx balance £15,700

    Date last paid 2007

was on arrangement, not payed for 4 months

    Status DEFAULT

Account owner - still with Halifax, but Nelson Guest & Partners on behalf of Wescott acting for Halifax have also contacted me Dec'2012
as from Dec 2013 owned by Merlin Euro.

    Dec'12 I sent CCA request

    Jan'13 I received T&Cs : niddy says not

Jan I sent 'Terms & Conditions Received' template

Jan I received credit card application copy (they posted this before they received T&C template)

CCA has been emailed to Niddy

Feb' I received PPI claimback application (in response to my complaint)???? I will ignore for now.

Feb' I sent 'Missing PT' template,

Feb' I received PPI claimback response( even tho i made no such claim) it says "no ppi with this card"

March I received from Halifax cc 'transfer notice' to moocroft.

March I received from Moorcroft 'contact us in 7 days or else'

Mar' I re-sent 'Missing PT' template to HALIFAX

Mar' I sent 'IN DISPUTE' template to Moorcroft

April I received from Moorcroft 'DISCOUNT OFFER'
April I received from Moorcroft 'asking halifax about the DISPUTE'
July I received from moorcroft ' Halifax have fully responded (and refer to a letter from Halifax in March that I never received) = debt still owed.
July I received from moorcroft ' to prevent possible further debt recovery action-etc.
Dec'2013 account sold to Merlin please contact within 5 days.
I can be added to the dreaded Merlin list now.
original cca request gave me an actual copy of page1 original application (drat)
so I presume another request will get me the same.
Question -do we blag UE with Merlin?
so will it be a new cca request or will it be ASID when they next contact me.

    Thanks for the reply

I've been told to blag this one because everything looks in order,
I was thinking of using SAR when(if) the time came to negotiate payment and I wanted any charges removed (although I don't think there were any with this one)

I just need something to dispute with them to keep the DCs distracted. I can't see SAR producing anything other than irresponsible lending.

The problem with this type of response is that the agreement may be "executed" ie your signature, but it may be "improperly executed" ie no signature from creditor. The letter they sent is pretty vague.

With a recon, you have no way of knowing.

Try SAR see what that turns up. Best £10.00 I spent. Got a photocopy of my "improperly executed" agreement.
