Re: ABF's UE Diary
UPDATE TODAY
06 September 2014 - letter arrived this morning, stating that "the above purchased account by 1st Credit (Finance) Limited has now been passed back to Marbles." I'm advised that I will not receive any further communication from 1st Credit (Finance) Limited.
Given this development, & that Marbles have marked the alleged debt as "Satisfied" on my CR, what will happen? Surely Marbles can't re-open the cancelled account?? They'll obviously try to re-sell it, but it's in serious dispute ... breaches left, right & centre I am anticipating.
Marbles
A purported CCA was received on 19 January 2010, which looks like an application form (I will scan & pass to Niddy). Dated 13 January 2000.
Balance is recorded by DCA as £11,000 + change
Last payment was in April 2009, not paying anything at present
Current status on credit record is Satisfied, & I have not heard anything from them since mid-2011.
From October 2009 - February 2012
As above with the "debt elimination company". I hold no default notice for this account.
UPDATES
09 October 2012 - Niddy confirms as UE, no DCA & no contact from OC however ... will send letter if/when this happens.
02 January 2014 - letter from 1st Credit arrived this morning, dated 24 December 2013, which has what is purported to be a notice of assignment. Progressive Credit Limited has assigned all of its respective rights, title & interest in respect of the account, including the outstanding balance to 1st Credit (Finance) Limited, effective 17 December 2013. It is electronically signed by Lynne Dineen (Director of Customer Assistance). I will start writing the letters ...
10 January 2014 - two letters from 1st Credit arrived this week, one of them this morning dated 07 January 201. Both of this week's letters are signed by Gavin Flynn, & both threaten county court action. I shall continue to write the letters, request CCA, etc.
12 January 2014 - letter on the doormat when I returned home from night away ... my correspondence has been forwarded to the appropriate department. Let's see what comes back ...
