    Re: ABF's UE Diary

    Marbles

A purported CCA was received on 19 January 2010, which looks like an application form (I will scan & pass to Niddy). Dated 13 January 2000.
Balance is recorded by DCA as £11,000 + change
Last payment was in April 2009, not paying anything at present
Current status on credit record is Satisfied, & I have not heard anything from them since mid-2011.

    From October 2009 - February 2012
As above with the "debt elimination company". I hold no default notice for this account.

    UPDATES
09 October 2012 - Niddy confirms as UE, no DCA & no contact from OC however ... will send letter if/when this happens.
02 January 2014 - letter from 1st Credit arrived this morning, dated 24 December 2013, which has what is purported to be a notice of assignment. Progressive Credit Limited has assigned all of its respective rights, title & interest in respect of the account, including the outstanding balance to 1st Credit (Finance) Limited, effective 17 December 2013. It is electronically signed by Lynne Dineen (Director of Customer Assistance). I will start writing the letters ...
10 January 2014 - two letters from 1st Credit arrived this week, one of them this morning dated 07 January 201. Both of this week's letters are signed by Gavin Flynn, & both threaten county court action. I shall continue to write the letters, request CCA, etc.
12 January 2014 - letter on the doormat when I returned home from night away ... my correspondence has been forwarded to the appropriate department. Let's see what comes back ...

    UPDATE TODAY
06 September 2014 - letter arrived this morning, stating that "the above purchased account by 1st Credit (Finance) Limited has now been passed back to Marbles." I'm advised that I will not receive any further communication from 1st Credit (Finance) Limited.

Given this development, & that Marbles have marked the alleged debt as "Satisfied" on my CR, what will happen? Surely Marbles can't re-open the cancelled account?? They'll obviously try to re-sell it, but it's in serious dispute ... breaches left, right & centre I am anticipating.

Looks like 1st Credit have brought back all their dodgy Marbles for a refund - I also had a UE Marble with 1st Credit and got the very same letter today.... what a shame for them, they are

You'll probably go into limbo while they decide whether to sell you off cheaply to a bottom feeder..let's hope that's after it becomes SB

Fun times - I tried the A4V *and* the Promissory Note remedy with Amex, in June. Been sent "statements" from them since BUT have not received any notification why AMEX haven't honoured the PN. ALSO, not received my PN or an explanation back so they're in breach of the PN legislation.

                Hiya!

Yes, all quiet. I've not heard a peep from 1st Credit regarding Marbles since my last update about them, & this account doesn't show on my credit file any more. Arrow Global are still registering the default, but still can't provide me with any paperwok, signed or otherwise. AMEX still send me statements, I keep binning them; they don't respond to the 3-letter method.

Other than that, it's calm as a millpond.

                Thanks for asking.

                      Re: ABF's UE Diary

Further to the original Barclaycard part of this thread, I put in a PPI claim in mid-2013 which was summarily rejected. TODAY, I had a letter to the house saying that "oops, we SHOULD have upheld your complaint when you sent it it ABF, so to that end we've got a sizeable cheque coming your way." Over £2k in fact ... the account has been binned (by Lowell Portfolio I) following the letters (17 in fact!), & it's settled on my CR.

                      I think that's a WIN!

All quiet ... Marbles account definitely gone off my CR, Amex still send "statements" but always get binned. SB is coming up ... by Feb 2016, the Amex account will definitely be SB, Arrow Global are ignoring my communications regarding their default date (out by over 9 months, & is an additional to the OC default mark) which puts them in a lot of trouble, but they're non-communicative which suits me. They CANNOT ask for or demand anything from me.
