Here is the FCA here is the link!
Lantern Debt Recovery Services Ltd (fca.org.uk)

I suggest you wait until you are contacted (by letter) and my suggestion is to send the AAD Sold Whilst In Dispute letter.

When a debt becomes 'questionable' (because of a lack of a CCA) are they allowed to just sell it on? And if so, doesn't the CCA pantomime just start again with the buyer?

Lantern are a pain, they bought an old Quickquid debt of mine, and are very persistent. Still, for the amount of money involved I imagine you're not sweating too much about it...

Just out of curiosity is there anyway I can move replies from one page of this thread to another. Basically I didn’t include all debts on my first page so have updated my diary with other debts as I have gone along and would like to put them all together.
    Thanks in advance

Go to the box where you can ask for documents and request the Default Notice and the Notice of Assignment.

Hopefully that should make them think twice about issuing a claim for £79 without having the relevant documents first.

Don’t complete the I & E section because there is no need.

    Was there a DN?
    was there a NOA?
Did you have other payday loans when you took out this one?

If push came to shove, could you maybe scrape some money together?
As far as I am aware there isn’t a DN or NOA. I did have a number of other PDLoans at the time. I suppose I can play the long game here and see what comes or make an F&F of about 50% which is about £40

Thanks for the reply. No this isn’t approaching SB. So it is just the CCA request that is outstanding. So when I respond to the LBC what will I need to complete? Obviously the dispute the claim section but would I just need to say the reason I dispute is because no credit agreement has been provided?

Also just out of curiosity has anybody else had dealings with AJJB? I have had two payday loan cases which they have issued LBC on so they look like they are a litigious company irrespective of the amount owed. As usual TIA
