Received threatening letter from 'Fairfax Sols. 'We have authority to commence legal proceeding through the court etc.' Anything to do or just continue to ignore? Only posting this as it sounds a bit more threatening than the usual rubbish that's sent!

PS. Could someone enlighten me on default notices? Are the debts wiped after 5 yrs from the date the default is issued?

Send them this----------> Threat by Creditor - To Commence Litigation
5years in Scotland/6 in England....They drop off your credit file...They become SB after 6 years of none payment.......

Hi Nidd, now getting settled in the sun. Been reading Pepe's UE with regards to Potugal. We are about to open a new Bank a/c & just checking that the Post Office is OK here?

Received letter hot on the heels of 'installment offer; & 'please send us £1' Now letter is from 'Midas' saying 'litigation warning'.
Shall I send 'threat by creditor' letter??

Hi In 2 deep - I've just checked the file & I sent them the 'threat by creditor' letter on the 3/8/11 which they appear to have completely ignored.
Particularly p****d off by this one as they have still never sent any CCA.
Suggestions??
