Sorry to hear DH isn't doing so good. Good luck at hospital and you know you have my thoughts and best wishes.

You guys and Gals are just amazing, not only do you take the time and effort to help us fight they shity Banks, DCA's and such like, your emotional support also gives people like us the strength to carry on.and more to each and everyone of you.

Mr M got lots of test done today, to be admitted to get more done soon.

I don't think you need to notify the regulatory bodies of this, we've covered that for you

Literally write back and just ask a simple one liner as such -

Dear Sirs,

Please could you clarify your exact business interests in relation to this account because from my recent searches I can see that your company is registered as dormant within the Companies House Webcheck service and likewise, trading against a dormant company invalidates any Consumer Credit Licence you may hold.

Please be so kind as to clarify my queries at your earliest convenience.

sent above letter to MDB Ltd on 12 June 2012, kept checking Royal Mail site, eventually delivered 18/06/13 (yesterday) but also says letter took longer as it had to be redirected. I did send it to MDB Ltd address on thier letter but it seems to have redirected to DLC the original DCA. What the hell are playing at

Sounds like everything is being forwarded to the pirate ship! Main thing is its recorded, and you have proof if it (i always print them out - should the Royal Mail site ever go belly up. Incidentally; anyone know how long Royal Mail keep that stuff on their site for?).

Hi folks

Our neighbour handed in two letters to us last night seemingly posted through thier door by mistake last week, but couldn't get us in to let us know as hubby was in hospital and i was there most of the time...anyway however...

1st Letter from DLC replying to the above letter Niddy helped us comply, stating:
Hillesden Securities Ltd trading as direct legal & collections appointed our agent Mecantile Data Bureau Ltd, to act in regards to the above acount.
Mercantile Data Bureau Ltd is aprt of the Faccenda Group along with Hillesden Securities Ltd T/A direct legal & collections. MDB are a seperate company to ourselves and hold their own Consumer Credit Licence. Should you wish to view the details of this licence, you can do so by going to the Office of Fair Trading website.
We trust the above information explains MDB's involvement and we request you contact them to discuss payment of the account balance.
(the letter they are referring to is the one Niddy did for us to sent to MDB this was redirected by royal mail to DLC who replied on behalf of MDB. WHY!!!!)

2nd Letter from MDB stating :
Unfortunately I have not had a response to my recent letter. This is disappointing as I wanted to give you the opportunity to resolve this matter without the need for a further third party to become involved.
Part of my account management process involves profiling accounts to pass to doorstep specialists, who may arrange to visit your home. However, should my enquires show that you are a home owner or employed/self employed, a third party may be instructed to begin further colection activity.
I assume you would rater avoid this together with additional costs, and therefore strongly advise you to ring me today.
(Now MDB are saying we haven't replied to thier first letter, which is untrue as we sent the letter Niddy complied to them which Royal Mail redirected to DLC.

Confused really can't cope with these ass holes just know, hubby not good.

Any suggestions......gratefully welcomed.

Thanks MrsD and Pixie, these people are the scum of the earth, yeah Mr M is more important than these scumbags.

The only thing thats scares me is as they said in their letter that they would transfer to a doorstep visit. That I cant allow, in case I'm not in and Mr M is on his own, that would horrendous consequences to deal with just now.

As you said MrsD I'll hang fire till Niddy has time and see what he has to say.

I have checked the Office of Fair Trading site and MDB are not on it, me thinks they are trying to pull a fast one, thinking I'll crumble, at one time I would have but now I am part of this amazing family of people who go to amazing limits to help people, I have the strength to stand up to them now.

Try not to worry about a doorstep visit as they hardly ever carry out the threat. They use the threat as a scare tactic to get you to phone them. It really isn't cost-effective for them.

I know that Niddy's rather busy at the moment but just wait and see what he says.

Niddy must be the busiest person on this land...never sleeps and at all beck and call 24/7 one amazing man, thats why I hate to bother him

Just not sure how to reply to DLC or MDB scared in case I do something wrong.

DLC are making out that MDB are registered company and hold a licence yet no sign of them on OFT. Now MDB threatening Doorstep Visit.

Maybe I should just send them Account in dispute letter and Doorstep Visit Letter rather than pester Niddy.
