      Cheers Niddy,

Daughters have just told us they have chipped together to buy us a Truecall machine , we did have one but it broke recently and we couldn't afford to replace it.

        HBOS – MASTERCARD UPDATE

OMG...Received letter this morning from Apex Credit Management quoting all different sections of the CCA Act 1974, saying contact them now with offer of payment to prevent further reqcovery action.
As we all know Niddy has deemed this agreement Niddy cahse chased1stCredit with their tail between their legs with the same agreement as this agreement is for two separate Credit cards. One that was assigned to 1st Credit and the other to Apex Credit Management.

Well over the past few weeks Apex has been phoning and phoning, luckily Daughters helped us get a Truecall machine, however received a long and boring letter with yet another copy of the agreement from Apex today stating all different sections of CCA Act1974.

They stated in March they would send to HBOS for copy CCA for them to deal with my queries efficiently, that’s a joke…. we sent Missing Terms and Conditions letter to them in March as advised by Niddy. Definately can't resk a doorstep visit Hubby's Mental and Physical health would not survive that.

Hoping to send letter to Nidd yfor his respected opinion...don't know maybe it
benefit pointing out what he pointed out to 1st Credit.

Will be guided by the Sir... himself

          HBOS - OVERDRAFT -UPDATE

          May 2012
Sent letter requesting CCA for this account in February 2012, never heard a dicky bird till this week. Received letter from Wescot stating they are cotacting origial creditor HBOS for information.

Am I correct in thinking Overdrafts are not completely covered by the CCA act, however we do have a default notice from HBOS which they terminated 16 days early of default date, is this to our advantage.

You are correct in thinking this however lets see what they come back with..... The DN is funny, that is your saving grace here so keep that and well done

I have not done a letter regards phone calls yet as you have trucall in place thus it's not necessarily harassment.

We'll revisit this in due course if it does start to become a pain, yea I am busy but still, if it needs a letter sending then I'll do it - just PM and tell me and I'll crack on

            Hope you're both keeping well...?

Cheers for the reply Niddy, wasn't quite sure how things stood with faulty default notice on an overdraft.

We do realise you are extremely busy, you never seem to stop.....

Truecall machine working no phone calls been let through. Hubby not so good just now, but waiting to hear from a specialist, hopefull soon.
No contact from HBOS regarding other two accounts that you got sent back from 1st Credit.

As soon as we hear from Wescot I shall update thread...

Hope everything well at your end....

                Re: Miss Muddle's UE Diary

                Hi Folks,

Thought I would update this thread as haven't posted for ages....hubby been in and out of hospital so haven't had much time to sit and post anything....

Not heard a peep from HBOS regarding Credit Cards or Preference Account, since Niddy through 1st Credit in February, the only conclusion we can come to is that they now realise we have Niddy on our side and they are shit scared....however we did hear from Wescot a few months ago regarding the Overdraft, we requested a copy of the agreement for the Overdraft, but still waiting for copy...

Hopefully I haven't spoken too soon...

                    Cheers evenlessdopey,

Exactly how we feel, unfortunately mr muddled not too good just now, ups and downs. At least we don't have HBOS on our backs which is a godsend, as before we were guided to AAD and Niddy life just wasn't worth living according to mr muddled.

Peeps, Still around, not posted for ages, thought I put wee update on....

No sign of anything (don't want to speak to soon) from HBOS since Niddy kicked 1st Credit2s ass....few wee niggly letters from a few of the others but have just ignored up till now.

Hubby still very unwell so been concentrating on him being in and out of hospital, however the fact is because Niddy worked a miracle and got HBOS off our backs it has made it easier for me to look after Mr Muddled, without Niddys help god knows where we would be now...I hate to even imagine that.

                      Will keep you all posted.....

                          Heyyy you!

Lovely to hear from you, although I know how much you have on your plate dealing with Hubby's illness.
Glad at least that it's fairly quiet on the DCA front, hope it stays so and that hubby starts to improve soon.

                          Hugs,

                          Elsa xx

Hi Elsa not been on to much as Mr M been not very good, thought things were picking up for a while, then everything mentakky just deteriorated again...he is also going in for more surgery on his gallbladder (only waited 2 years for them to decided, wasn't till we asked for 2nd opinion) this month, however never give up hope...

Its all you lovely special people on here that helps us cope, said it all before but if you hadn't have guided us at the beginning of this year I hate to imagine where we would have been now.

Have you heard from HBOS recently....

and to everyone, enjoy your day.
