    DEBENHAMS STORE CARD – GE MONEY – ASSIGNED TO CL FINANCE

    Type of account:– Store Card
    Date commenced:- MARCH 2003
    Approx balance:-£2,400
    Last full payment paid:- Approx Jan 2009
    Arrangement or not paying:Had an arrangement with Lewis Credit Service until Jan 2009.

    Status:- No Default Notice or Termination Notice

    Account owner:- Assigned to CL Finance Sept 2009 (Lowell’s now chasing)


    Basis of this account is - received CCA from CL Finance July 2009 but there was a different account number on it they said this was because first card got lost stolen I have requested proof of this statement, but none forth coming since requesting also charges awarded from FOS but have never been credited to the account.



    2007
    October - Got into financial difficulty due to giving up work to look after Hubby.

    2008
    Jan – December – Several demands from Lewis Debt Recovery
    September – Assigned to CL Finance

    2009
    Jan – May – Received demands and reduce payment offers from Lewis
    May - Sent CCA request to Lewis
    July - Received a copy of a agreement with a completely different account number
    CL Finance said that GE Money says that this was due to card being change at some point because it had been reported lost or stolen. (Can’t remember this happening)
    December – Applied for charges

    2010
    June - FOS awarded full charges, Santander said they would send charges to CL Finance (To my knowledge this has never been deducted from balance as yet.
    June - Advised CL Finance regarding different account numbers – they were sending demands for ABCDEF but they sent an agreement for GHIJKL.
    June - Received letter from Santander explaining about different account numbers.

    2011
    September - Sold to Lowell’s
    September - Received demand letter from Lowell’s (STILL NO CHARGES BEEN DEDUCTED FROM BALANCE)
    October - Sent letter to Lowell’s advising of dispute
    October - Received letter from Lowell’s querying account with CL Finance.

    2012
    January - Received letter from Lowell’s advising me that even although different account number on CCA it is the same account.
    January - Sent a CCA Request
    January - Received letter from Lowelll stating awaiting copy of CCA from CL Finance
    March - Time to send CCA to Niddy for checking.

      UPDATE ------BOS MASTERCARD

      March 2012
      March - Received letter from Apex saying they had referred account to HBOS to get a copy of the agreement to enable them to deal with our queries efficiently accpount on hold. (THey already have a copy it was them who sent Hubby a copy months ago)

      March - Niddy deemed account totally Sent Missing Prescribed Terms letter as advised by Niddy (No response to this letter) - Niddy has already saw 1st Credit off with this same agreement for another account, 1st Credit sold back to HBOS.

      March - Received letter today enclosing statements that we requested (We have never requested these statements) to call their office as a matter of urgency to resolve this matter.

      Do we contact them stating no reply to our letter and advising them we didn't order statements but still waiting for them to get agreement to deal with our queries efficiently ?.

                Here's hoping they don't turn up on our doorstep, Hubby really not good just now, this would totally finish him....

                Was wondering if it would be worth while sending a letter similar to the one Niddy sent 1st Credit for the other credit card on this agreement, who then sold it back to HBOS, would this maybe jog their memory that this agreement is UE...which I am sure they must know.

                      It's unlikely that they would send anyone round but, if they did, just tell them to bugger off.

                      If you can squirt water over the front of their trousers through the letterbox, that's a bonus; if you can tip them sideways into a moat full of ravenous piranha fish, that's even better.

                          HBOS - M/C - UPDATE

                          No more letters or visits as yet, but Apex have been phoning us three times a day for the past 3 - 4 days since they sent us statements for his account which we never requested, still waiting to hear from them regarding their letter saying they would contact HBOS to check queries about CCA obviously the statements are their reply.....Niddy has deemed this agreement 1,000,000%

                          Phone calls driving hubby mad. we have already advised them
                          of Hubby's delicate state of mind and health issuesthey are obviously choosing to ignore this.

                            Are you with BT? Can they do call screening? (I know Virgin can't/don't/won't)
                            Slap 'em with the letter about harassing calls (I'm sure Niddy or someone will post the link)
                            Complain to OFCOM?
