    Re: Angelsoxx's UE diary

Someone correct me, but i read Paul say in another thread, that once an account is terminated, they have no requirement to send you, your CCA.

It doesnt mean all wont, it just means they dont have to.

Having said that, why wouldnt they? they dont have it lol

      Re: Angelsoxx's UE diary

If an account had been terminated, then why the Hell should I send them any £?
If the original account no longer exists, I have no agreement with cl finance, so what ground can they possibly have for trying to take money from me?
Surely they'd have to provide a cca from the OC, plus proof that they now owned the debt in order to enforce it?

I think they don't have it and are trying to bs me and intimidate me, shocking behaviour for a debt collector...

        It's oh so quiet!

Only yhing which has happened is a letter from lloyds saying they are assigning a debt to a debt collector.
Will wait until i hear from them and send the account sold in dispute :-)

Hope everyone is enjoying the "summer"...

Long, long ago, in a far off kingdom, a great ball of golden fire would come and smile down upon to poor, soggy people and bring joy to them for the months of june to september.
This is SUMMER! (so i've heard)

wow thanks for that i must pass this story onto my grandson when he is old enough to understand, in the meantime if we do experience this great ball of golden fire i will have to explain what it is so he isn't confused ,so far since he has been born he has only ever seen rain , dark skies and more rain .

Just seen this...partly right, but only if there is no money owing on the account, ie it has been paid up and marked as settled.

They still have to supply a CCA for any regulated account, terminated or not, that still has money owing. The only other exception is when a CCJ has been obtained, which effectively forms a new agreement.

                            She hadn't called back :-(

We wish to make it quite clear that unless a substantial payment is made to us within the next 10 days, along with a firm offer to clear the rest of the overdue balance, we will have to notify our client... blah blah, further action

What a load of old tosh! My CCA cheque was cashed, and not a CCA did i recieve, not even acknowledgement that one had been requested.
