i have a question as i never new until i scanned and posted that the wifey selected optional features the "asset payment protection" and "sentinel protection" do i just ignore this atm has i have not paid a penny for a months or answered and phone calls and letters. :confusing

I'd ignore it for now, however if its enforceable and they attempt legal action (ie ccj) then you would reclaim this, plus interest plus charges (to reduce the balance). As you're not paying anything, the balance may as well be £10k as opposed to £1k - ie what does it matter?

So yea, sit tight and do nothing about this right now.

It's always wise to do what Niddy says. Even if you don't understand the reasoning behind it, he does!! If he doesn't answer straight away, it's because there's really no rush (though I know how easy it is to be impatient!)
