It's not the first time a creditor assumes YOU will be taking action against THEM! Have seen a few responses like that. Before judgments against the Rankines and the Carey case, people who sent CCA requests often did so with the idea of going to court and having their agreements ruled UE, usually with the 'help' of a CMC. Banks must be used to it and have prepared responses to suit that situation.

No I never threatened to take them to court, why would I!!!!

I think they just have a set of letters that they pick at random
