I have recieved this via email this morning???

    Lowell Reference Number: 1.........
    Original Account Number: .........
    Original Company: Very
    Account Balance: £........
    Dear Mrs ...........,
We wrote to you recently regarding your debt that has been sold to Lowell Portfolio I Ltd by Very.
Please call 0113 308 6085 today regarding the outstanding debt due to our above client.
We are not aware of any reason why your debt should remain unpaid. It is therefore very important that you contact us as soon as possible so that we can agree repayment. If you cannot afford to pay back the money in one go we are willing to let you pay this monthly by direct debit. You could be entitled to re-pay as little as £1 per day should your circumstances warrant it. If you cannot afford £1 per day then please let us know what you can afford. Please call an account manager today so that we can bring this matter to a close or follow this link and securely set up a direct debit.
Please visit our website www.lowell.co.uk for details about how you can pay, find out information about who we are and how we can help you and you can find answers to some of the common questions we are asked.
    Yours sincerely,
    Robert Taylor
    Collections Manager
    Lowell Financial Ltd

Just wait and see what they send next, no need to upload these letters for us, they will be typical nonsense stuff that need no response

    Hi haylee,

I2D is right. As a matter of principle never take the fight to them. Whilst they are calm and docile and leaving you alone, in these circumstances don't pay them and let matters rest.

I have a known hard nosed approach to all of them because I have been through the whole thing with solicitors doing the investigating, checking etc before my days with AAD, hence I know the situation whatever and can play silly games with them if they annoy me enough which has been regular in the past as I am pretty sure of our ground. However one dose of AAD's letters and procedures caused a pretty awful debt purchaser to back down on two accounts very recently, closing both files, one was our biggest and the other was a couple of thousand or so.

So the methods here really do work and if you are unsure of anything please come back and ask before acting. Most of the time you can ignore the drivel they send and it is wise counsel to take on board the standard litigation advice in all of these matters which is "make the buggers come to you".

    regards
    Garlok .
