    I have another problem that I also offered full and final for that particular debt which is the letter that the DCA keep referring to with my signature on it when I settled my the other debts the DCA refused but this also make it look like I accepted the debt.

      It doesn't prove the debt is yours, but anyone looking at they case would think it odd that you did that.

      Obviously, you had reasons at the time why you thought you should do that, despite not owing the debt.

      So you will just have to explain those reasons in any letter.

      The problem is that you've dug yourself a hole here.

      I'm not blaming you for that, as when people are worried and stressed, they don't always think straight or do the logical thing.

      It's unlikely that the DCA would go to court, but if they did you are going to have quite a bit of explaining to do.

      Well, actually, so would they regarding the bodged up documents.

          I'm the forum administrator and I look after the theme & features, our volunteers & users and also look after any complaints or Data Protection queries that pass through the forum or main website. I am extremely busy so if you do contact me or need a reply to a forum post then use the email or PM features offered because I do miss things and get tied up for days at a time!
