Re: Natwest Loan No paperwork
Hiya
Woah - ok, i've read it all and have found a few things that aren't right, however I feel you need to pursue this via the FOS now and leave them to deal with it.
Initially I was happy to try and help but having read all the paperwork, there seems to be error after error which isn't really good - for Natwest I mean, thus I think you'll benefit going with and arguing via the FOS.
The fact they paid £300 into your account doesn't help either, how come you had no appeal process for that, how come you were not allowed to respond prior to their final response? It's dodgy and as such I strongly suggest you put together a timeline of events and list your complaints one by one, then send a copy with all the other stuff you have to the FOS and leave them to investigate things. In total, £550 isn't suffice - especially as you have an unenforceable loan with them, however that is irrelevant to the FOS so don't even mention it, they cannot comment on it as it's hearsay - however the fact the agreement cannot be found and the bank does not have a clue where it is, is a fault - sod their "we haven't done anything wrong" - course they have! How can they categorically guarantee that the document is safe, when they can't even find it? Thus their claim is incorrect so argue this point more.
Seriously, you need to leave this to the ombudsman as it's too much for you to take on with the bank, they are not qualified enough to deal with these complaints, so i'd be looking at the FOS.
