Re: Don't know what to do.

Can you clarify - is this your only debt (Lloyds tsb card)?

What is the approximate balance? When did you last pay anything to the bank/dca?

      The agreement is quite

They admit this in their letter whereby they declare they cannot find a signed copy!

I really do appreciate yours and everyone elses support.
                hiya,
I've been there Freckles and i really do feel your pain.
When all my finances came to a standstill it really got to me; it wasn't something i had experienced, or knew how to deal with. What is so frustrating is that they offer you the world when things are OK and then treat you like scum when things go wrong.
I stumbled across this amazing forum whilst search for "mortgage with default" and the rest is history as they say!
I spent days reading all the information and members diaries and started my own.
I felt relieved almost immediately because all the information on here is not only spot on, but all the members are in a similar position one way, or another which is a comfort in itself, but also its nice to read about people in similar positions and what to expect.
Most of these banks and debt collection start off like a bottle of pop exploding everywhere and when they realise you are prepared to stand-up to them; they will move on to someone who isnt prepared to.

Stick around and you'll be fine. I'd seriously consider a diary as its the best way for other members to help you.

                All the best,
                Missy

Edit: Just seen the good news - no contract! That's a brilliant start. Grab yourself a beer!

When Gold isn't enough, there is SA Gold! New to the forum and find the UE route a bit scary? Take a look at my diary here and judge for yourself. I am now saving the money each month that was making little difference to the balance and not a bit of difference to my credit file as a result of finding AAD.

                        Hi Missy

Yippee its great news.Im just about to pop open a cider and vimto.I know what you mean about this site.I never imagined that a down to earth caring site like this could actually exist on the net.

When I reached out on another forum for advice I got the usual "Its all your own fault" and so on but one member told me to stop worrying and contact the guys on this site as they had used this site themselves and basically they never looked back.

Im really glad you got yourself sorted. So many people all over this country are in terrible situations and have no idea the help is out there.

Right im going to sit in my garden with my cider and slowly exhale.

I don't have a greenhouse but the tomatoes in my garden are doing better than they usually do.

lets see what they send/do next and we'll guide you along, just relax a bit and don't take anything for granted - these guys are scum, proper scum - never forget that!

Are you a homeowner out of interest? If not then any judgment would matter little, if so then we would play it differently if they decided to get heavy.

Don't worry, try and relax and lets see what happens
