    Re: Please help urgently

It is the judges' and the solicitors'/barristers' day job. You are nothing special to them, they are just doing their stuff. It is particular to you though, as you are fighting your corner personally.

Papers and thoughts collected, deep breath act as though you are doing your job. Don't take it personally (my biggest mistake).

    Good luck.

                      Re: Please help urgently

Hello everyone, firstly my apologies for taking so long to get here today ( i had hoped Niddy would have filled you in, thanks Niddy) Its been a hectic day, my daughter had her first public performance this evening playing her flute. I had to leave court and drive 28 miles to get her from school to her rehearsal then take her home feed her and take her back for the performance. Finished that and then set about making my son a kinder egg birthday cake (that was a disaster but you cant win em all eh?) anyway enough waffling on i just wanted to explain the delay.
I was in the court for all of 5 minutes, the judge asked the barrister for his speel and when he mentioned i had offered £50 per month the judge raised an eyebrow at him, he had obviously read my submission better than the barrister. Then he started stuttering a bit and looking through papers and realised his mistake he said something like "hmm oh yes it says weekly" - the judge smiled at me and i think at that point i knew i was ok. He then said even £50 a week isnt enough to cover the original agreement of £209 a month, the judge got a calculator and said actually over 52 weeks it more than covers the £209 and also is blah blah towards the arrears since dec! (Inside im quietly cartwheeling hes making this guy look like an idiot) then the barrister said "with all due respect i dont think the defendant can afford £50 per week" and the judge replied that it was his opinion that i could..... i thanked him and left 0.o the barrister had been in with someone else before me i wonder if he pissed him off? I wanted out of there but on reflection i wish i had the balls to say, "what about this agreement not being signed and these witness statement errors?" I went in there to say that but the subject never came up.. best not to push my luck. Niddy you were amazing you really got me through yesterday and pointed me in the right direction. Paul im so glad i spoke to you this morning i went in there confident in whatever the outcome would be. You really are salt of the earth! Infact your my 2nd favourite lawyer now! (the first is harvey spector (suits) lol ) time for some suits now infact and well earned chill out. You guys rock xxx
