From the amount could it be a mobile phone bill or say a catalogue account or even a store card that i know you may have thought you've paid off but had trailing interest still applying at all??I am an IT Professional with a Background in most Microsoft Based Technologies. Currently Proud to Work at one of the Leading UK Universities. I have that Mentality of "If I can provide Useful Input - then I will Try my best to do so"

Also as another possibility could you have been victim of ID Fraud at all??
And even if not relevant to yourself it could equate for something cropping up for someone else.

Yep, already mentioned that to him mate but it's quite irrelevant as the debt is not his, the address mentioned is unknown to the OP so it's fine.
Just awaiting clarity from 1st Credit that the CRA data will be expunged with the debt returned to the owner as wrong person.

I will record this as a mistrace by the 3rd party and;
*
a)***** Advise the 3rd party
b)***** Remove the address from our records
c)****** Remove CRA data
