.... Nope alls quiet on the Black Horse coral.... nothing since I had that statement... so oooo,,,, hope they not disturbed by this .... Its about 2 years now since I stopped paying so hopefully ...... thanks for asking and thinking about me...

Strangely enough, a friend of mine is going through something similar; sold a motor home which should have made a dent in the loan taken out but doesn't seem to have done, etc, etc. She's been paying it for around about the same number of years as you as well but at the moment, is not feeling brave enough to challenge them. She'll get there though.....

Thanks....Introduce her to AAD...no one was more certain that a loan has to be paid no matter what and the big finance companies can do no wrong. Even now I occasionally question all this debt business. But they are not blameless because I should not of been allowed to take on the debt at that time in the situation I was in...and they knew. Also the deal was made in suspicious circumstances, then like your friend they want to squeeze every last penny out of the deal irrespective of yourpersonal circumstances or legalities. I have read many of the situations on here...no one comes on here and stays if they are messing about .This site is successful because of its genuine nature, no nonsense advice and dedicated team.Im converted and these big banks/financiers/debt collectors are vermin and deserve what they are getting back.

I have introduced several people to AAD Susie but unfortunately, they're not pro-active enough and once registered, won't do anything for themselves whatsoever and expect me to take it all on for them!!..... If they could be bothered to post their stories, then at least I could keep track of things but it doesn't happen. Totally agree...change comes from within. I knew for a long time something was not right, tried various avenues.Ten years ago sites like this did not exist. Then my now partner helping me look to retiring , looked at the remaining debt with fresh eyes and here I am. If I was wealthy I would be tempted to contest the whole thing in court but as it is im happy to keep the balance in my pension fund and winning a small battle. People are strange how they put up with the big bullies, just preferring to moan

Received this letter this morning and would appreciate your feedback and opinion. I thought all was quiet but I won t breath easy until I know for sure the time limit is up or they back off. This one does worry me some although my better half assures me not to worry. Its just signed by Aplins which I find a bit odd.. Anyway I v started wittering so, appreciate advice on what to do next.... Thanks

Hi Susie..... sorry for he delay in getting back to you. I am going through an incredibly stressful time at work right now and it's make or break there 'coz I've had enough now..... but that's a separate issue.
I will look at this properly for you over the weekend but on the face of it, they have not issued any response to the letter sent to them in March and passed it back to DLC who have waited a few months and then passed it back to Hillesden/Aplins again..... without confirming anything under CPUTR as requested, which is misleading by omission. This is no surprise, as it tends to work this way but this lot are being incredibly persistent, so I'll draft something up for you as soon as I can this weekend and bring in the FCA to back things up a bit more.
Not sure if that last letter to Aplins was headed up as a formal complaint or not.....

Hi Priority, Its fine ,I realise you have your own lives on here. I understand stressful too , which is why I took the plunge and retired two years ago, Yes they are passing it around it seems, and yes they are really annoying me, more than scaring me now. I was reading a thread only yesterday and Niddy said that if these companies gave people respect over their loans we would not be here today, which is exactly as I feel. I have been a cash cow (love that description) for far too long, to many people. I was pushed into redeeming an endowment policy to satisfy these greedy so and so s, which would of paid my mortgage off now, so I am still paying my mortgage out of my pension. These people see me as and easy target (they think), they have all my personal details which I find a bit scary, and that's why they keep pushing me I'm sure. Anyway, this cash cow has been milked and run dry now lol ...
You have done me two letters to these t****** and they were not headed as formal complaints. I could upload them if you cannot put a hand on them.
