Here s wishing you all a Merry worry free Christmas and a much happier New Year. Thanks to you all I am also this year, all is still quiet because they are running short of answers and tools to get blood out of stones... thats me.

Happy New Year.. I ve had my card from DLC this morning , I thought they had been quiet , too much to hope for that they would n t come back. Anyway, Priority, when you have a moment could you please cast a glance over the letter and give me your thoughts and advice, and of course anyone else there who would like to add their two pennorth..
The letter seems standard waffle with a threat. I don t understand why they sent me a copy of the agreement between themselves and Blackhorse. Also they attached the statement of accounts which BlackHorse sent me in the beginning,
All comments welcome so I can decide what to do , if anything.

It was detailed, but did not answer everything. They gave up and passed it onto DCs I think this is the third one since then .

Having read the letter again, they seem to be deflecting attention away fro the fact that nothing can be substantiated and instead, have focused on the how/why/when they acquired the account..... which no-one gives a sh*t about really
They've also kindly confirmed that they "cannot comment on actions taken prior to acquisition"..... which suggests that they're pissing in the wind with it. I'll need to draft a short response to this anyway, I think. With an Absolute Assignment, there's always a risk they could issue court papers even if it's just for the Hell of it.Remember the mantra:

This account has been disputed for ages Susie.... and no-one is able to substantiate what you're asking for; all they do is fob you off. Hillesdon aren't prolific N1 issuers. You'll be ok and if not we'll set Andrew on them
I'm the forum administrator and I look after the theme & features, our volunteers & users and also look after any complaints or Data Protection queries that pass through the forum or main website.
