Paul, the answer is I don't know. The letter in post 1 refers to 1st Credit 5. The one in post 13, as you point out, refers to 1st Credit 3. I think they're in a bit of a mucking fuddle.

So am I now. Is there any significance in this?

      Cheers.

I have no idea at this moment, havent formed a view, but its helpful to know who the owner is of the account, as otherwise how do you know who to pay?

I know what you mean. I'd rather not pay anyone though!

Re: Fred Bassett v 1st Credit (Lloyds TSB)

im not entirely happy with this one, the agreement appears to be either

              A) imcomplete

              or

              B) improperly executed.

I would also ask for clarifcation why on what seemingly is the back and front of the same document, the creditors address is different.

If you look at the addy at the top of the signed page it says "US Lloyds TSB Bank Plc ......" and then if you turn the page, they seem to have had a memory loss, as there appears to be a different address.

Im not sure that would happen on the same document.

Default sucks donkey cock too btw

its the same as the others we see on here

                  Paul,

Can I ask what is wrong with the DN?

                  Cheers.

                    Fred,

It will be either the time allowed to rectify the default, the amount of the default of statutory wording.

Paul has been at trial today, so please bear with him. He will respond.

I've now received a letter from Connaught Collections, the gist of which is "cough up or our client might consider legal action".

What are this lot like to deal with?

Had an identical letter for my Halifax account.

                          Part of 1st Credit.

Did you send the DN to Niddy

No need to send to me, Paul has said it's donkey pish already!

Ah Vint, you've probably seen the reply from Niddy. Big pile of poo apparently which is good news as it look enforceable otherwise.

                              Cheers.

Re: Fred Bassett v 1st Credit (Lloyds TSB)

I don't know if there is something to be concerned about here or not, but there is no mention of this account in either Noddle or Annual Credit Report. There used to be, when it was still with Lloyds, but it has disappeared since 1st Credit got their hands on it.

The reason I'm concerned is that I've just found evidence of what might be a "phantom" payment on my Halifax account and without visibility of the Lloyds account, I have no idea what, if anything, 1st Credit might be up to.

                                Any suggestions?

                                Cheers.
