        Thanks Matty

Was so determined lol and shown them we were not giving up, shame the adjudicator didn't think of dealing with the complaint like i did, its my letter that finally sorted it I think lol.

Well I do have some other ongoing reclaims via Lloyds, some of them are resolved with them but another 2 remaining.

        Cheers x

I am thinking of asking them about further redress for the distress and inconvenience caused, this was actually requested for on my complaint, but not mentioned at all on the upheld letter.

I feel we deserve this after being told NO since 2008 even earlier that it was not them that sold the PPI, where i have been trying to prove this since then.

They also gave the Adjudicator wrong information, it just goes to show they were not investigating properly or taking our complaint seriously even.

          What do you think folks?

Emailed letters sent to both the Adjudicator and HFC about further redress for distress and the inconvenience this caused, I stated they seemed to have missed this part of it on complaining.

              Well done Di, brilliant result.

I really must try EPF again albeit my PPI is clearly stated on the original EPF signed form which was handled by Purple Loans

I have since received a further email today, and they confirmed they are also now looking info further redress for the distress and inconvenience caused, and I should receive a response in the next day or 2. xxxx

That's even better news then Di, fingers crossed.

What I gather though is that you won because EPF admitted they sold the PPI whereas mine was on the form loan form done by Purple ?

I'll give it a go though, you never know.

ps where's the email address ?

I agree totally - you deserve it from them BOTH.

They will be sending a further response in the next day or 2, and said if I'm happy with the current offer we can still sign and send and a further acceptance will be sent in regards of the inconvenience etc.

I received an email to confirm that they will be sending a further acceptance form, this will be in addition to what they aleady offered, so it will be a full refund of PPI, plus the relevant interest, and now the offer of further redress for the inconvenience, so basically I asked them for Compensatory interest, and out of pocket expenses, it should arrive in the post tomorrow.

Thank you IF, for closing the other one for me lol, i must get back into practice.

Well received a further offer for the inconvenience side of it and they offered a further £100, I would have been happier if it were £200 to £250, afterall the mis leading advice, since 2008, the wrong details given, my health, and other expenses involved is worth far more than £100.

However, it does state on the letter that we can contact them further if we want to, I suppose they will start on the lowest and take it from there.

Try adding a further 0 and they might be closer
