Is it not a month after the 6 year date IE SB March 27 2013 (if they do have proof) to be sure it is SB?

Just ignore it or send something?

Its SB a day after the last payment +6yrs, so if you last paid on 01st Jan 2007 it would be SB on 02 Jan 2013. However because on some accounts you pay in advance, we always suggest playing it by the "a day after first missed payment date" so assuming the same example, in that situation the first missed payment would be 1st Feb 2007 meaning guaranteed SB by 2nd Feb 2013

We did, Niddy did me a letter to ask them to prove it and they sent a Dec 06 statement

Lowells claim a payment was made 27th feb 07 but have only sent me statements up to Dec 06 even after me asking for proof.
Now they passed it over to Red!

Hit them with a dispute, they will take a few weeks to come back to you.

This has been going on since 2008.

I have sent CCA's SAR's and asked for proof of the Feb 07 payment only to be sent this Dec 06 statement!

I got a letter from RED today saying they had taken over the account!

I think you should be sending something back, just to keep them on their toes, if the payment was made 27th feb 07, then you have 4 weeks exactly before SB.

Without going back over this thread, has a CCA request ever been made directly to lowells? If not, that will stall them for a while.

Failing that, you could write back and ask for proof payment was made as the statement only goes up to 2nd Jan 07, and as they are clearly saying they believe you made a payment in feb 07, you still require proof, as they have not provided evidence of this.

That should make them go back to Egg, spend another couple of weeks trying to find a print out of money paid.

Wait for niddy to confirm what you should do though.
